Kung ang mga Katoliko mag-ampo kang Birhen Maria, dili nato sabton nga si Maria usa ka Dios. That would be contrary to the teachings of the Church. Timan-an lang nato nga ang mga santos dili mga Dios kondili mga MAG-AAMPO o kaabag sa pag-ampo ngadto sa Dios(Intercessor). Kini tungod kay ang Dios mamati man sa pagampo nila ( 1 Pedro 3:12). 1 Tim 2:1 - I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people. Kay ang pag-ampo sa tawong matarong (santos) (intercession) dako ug kahimuan.. The prayer of a righteous person is POWERFUL and EFFECTIVE. (Santiago 5:16). Adunay duha ka matang sa pag-ampo:

- ug ang pag-ampo nga ikahatag rs usab ngadto sa mga Santos (Dulia) ug kang Birhen Maria (Hyperdulia) nga mao ang VENERATION – PAYING HOMAGE OR HONOR (DULIA / HYPERDULIA) . We Catholics don’t pray to Mary “WE PRAY WITH MARY"
- Daniel 2:46 – Si Haring Nabucodonosor MIHAPA ug MISIMBA kang Daniel (tawong balaan) “Then the king Nebuchadnezzar fell upon his face, and worshipped Daniel,….”
- Lucas 1:48 – “…..all generations shall call me blessed.” So, tanan nga kaliwatan motawag kang Maria ug BULAHAN. Sa Biblia duha ka kaliwatan ang gihisgotan human makasala ang tawo sa Dios. Genesis 3:15 – ang kaliwat sa bitin ug kaliwat sa BABAYE (MARIA). Gipadayag 12:17 – niini nga verse nakig-away ang yawa nga mao ang dragon sa TANANG KALIWAT SA BABAYE….” Magpili lang sila kung asa sila nga kaliwat (KALIWAT BA SA BITIN O KALIWAT BA SA BABAYE) Kung kaliwat sila sa babaye, ilang tumanon ang giingon sa Espiritu Santo nga gikan sa baba ni Birhen Maria nga “SUKAD KARON ANG TANANG KALIWATAN MAGATAWAG KANAKO’G BULAHAN.” Mao na nga ang mga Katoliko diha sa ilang pagdayeg kang Maria sa Hail Mary tawgon ug “BULAHAN KA SA MGA BABAYE NGA TANAN” nagpasabot nga ang maong mga katawhan mga KALIWAT SA BABAYE.
- Gipadayag 3:7, 9 – Gipadayag Pito Ka Espiritu sa Dios (Ang Nagkupot sa Yawe ni David) nga nagkanayon: (Verse 7) – Kini ang mensahe nga giingon sa balaan nga matuod nga nagkupot sa yawe ni David…….(Verse 7)….Paduolon ko sila kanimo ug PALUDHON ug PASIMBAHON ko kanimo aron sila mahibalo nga gihigugma ko ikaw. Kining maong pagluhod ug pagsimba dili sabton nga adoration kundili veneration.
If Catholics were to pray to Mary, this would imply that they are worshipping her as a god. But Catholics DO NOT perceive Mary as a god.
- They honor the Blessed Virgin Mary.
- They view Mary as the holiest of all the Saints.
- They accept the fact that Mary is the most successful Saint at obtaining Divine favors through her intercession.
Pray directly to God is the best. No channels is needed here. Mary and other Saints were all humans and humans are never to be channels to get prayers answered. All these people are already dead and do not hear so called calls of prayers. They can no longer help in praying.

ReplyDeletewhile praying to God is the best, God in His goodness never prohibited us mediating or praying for others.the saints in heaven including mother Mary pray in our behalf.if praying for others is wrong, y canwe find verses in the bible where st.paul and others requestes the prayers of others for them?
