PANGUTANA:

Nganong wala man gipasaylo sa Dios si Lucifer ug ang mga kaubang rebeldeng anghel nga higugmaon ug pasayloon man kaha ang mga kaaway?

TUBAG:

Ang mga anghel gibuhat uban sa grasyang makasantos (Sanctifying Grace). Sa tinuoray ginganlan silag mga “Santos” o “Holy” o “Higala sa Dios”. Apan dili tanan nagpadayon, mao kadto si Lucifer. Daghan kanila human buhata sa Dios nakasala sila niining gitawag natog “kamapahitas-on” (pride). Giabusuhan nila ang ilang kagawasan. Niingon si Lucifer “‘I will ascend to heaven; above the stars of God I will set my throne on high; I will sit on the mount of assembly in the far north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will make myself like the Most High.” (Isaias 14:13-14).

Mao ni giingon sa Konsilyo Laterano nga ang Dios wala magpasaylo sa sala sa mga anghel. Seguro makapangutana kita “Nganong wala man gipasaylo sa Ginoo?”. Sumala sa "The Faith Explained by Leo J. Trese p.30".

"...when the human race would sin in the person of Adam, God would give the human race a second chance. But there was no second chance for the sinning angels. Because of the "PERFECT CLARITY" of their angelic minds and the unhampered freedom of their angelic wills, even the infinite mercy of God could find no excuse for the sin of the angels. They understood (to a degree that Adam never did) what the full consequence of their sin would be. with them there was no "temptation", in the sense in which we ordinarily understand the word. Theirs was what we would call a cold-blooded sin. By their deliberate and fully aware rejection of God, their wills were fixed against God, fixed forever. Kini para ra gyud tumong sa tawo kay duna may punto nga wala masayri sa tawo ug wala mahiapil niining pag-ampo ang mga rebeldeng anghel tungod kay hingpit man ang ilang kasayoran sumala sa gasa sa kahibalo nga gihatag kanila sa Dios.
